Customs Duty Notice | For US Recipients
According to the latest U.S. Customs regulations, starting August 29, 2025, all imported packages (including those valued at USD 800 or below) will no longer be duty-exempt. Duties will be applied based on each product’s country of origin and must be paid by the recipient.
Japan: All Japan-made products will be subject to a 15% duty under MFN rules.
In addition, under Section 232 of the U.S. Trade Expansion Act, all stainless-steel products (including barware, tableware, and kitchenware) are now subject to an additional 50% duty, which stacks on top of existing rates.
Courier companies may also charge duty pre-payment and customs processing fees when collecting these taxes on behalf of U.S. Customs.
India: All India-made products will be subject to a 50% or higher duty, depending on product category and current U.S. Customs regulations.
Other origins: Duties apply according to the official U.S. Customs tariff rate for that specific country.
When placing your order, please check the product’s country of origin to estimate the duty that may apply.
All duties are assessed and collected by U.S. Customs in accordance with import laws.
