Excellence Unveiled: Introducing the All-New Charcoal Edition
Birdy remains committed to exceptional craftsmanship, only launching new products when aiming for perfection. The new Charcoal Edition utilizes electrochemical treatment technology to increase the thickness of the metal's oxide layer to approximately 0.4 microns, giving the tools a deep, elegant black sheen while effectively reducing reflective light for a refined look.
This innovative technique requires no paint, coating, or coloring, yet significantly enhances the metal's wear resistance and corrosion resistance, embodying the perfect blend of technology and craftsmanship. Additionally, since the oxide layer forms naturally, the process is both environmentally friendly and fully recyclable, aligning with sustainable practices.
The first batch of Charcoal Edition products includes a bar spoon, jigger, and tong, combining functionality with sophisticated design. These products made their debut at the Tokyo International Bar Show 2024 in May, immediately capturing the attention of bartenders worldwide. With the seamless fusion of natural metal luster and sleek black aesthetics, the Charcoal Edition reflects Birdy's dedication to innovation, quality, and design excellence.
A Smoother Stir
Precision machined for a smooth finish and perfect balance. One turn and you’ll never go back.
A stem that is pleasant to the touch
Conventional bar spoons have sharp edges along the stem that slow down the speed at which you can stir. And when you are stirring dozens of cocktails a day, this stress can take its toll on your fingers. The stem of the Birdy Bar Spoon has been rounded to soften the edges and reduce friction for a smooth feel.
Convenient tail-end strainer
On the tail end of the spoon is a convenient strainer, which you can use to drain water after chilling glasses or for a quick lift and stir for highballs or G&Ts. So much more intuitive than the trident. Does anyone even know what that’s for anyway?
