【Sphere-Inspired Interior for Smooth Mixing】

Traditional shakers often have internal irregularities that disrupt mixing and accelerate dilution. Birdy’s shaker features a rugby ball-shaped interior, minimizing resistance and allowing ingredients and ice to blend naturally, resulting in deeper, more structured flavors.

【Vertical Polishing for Optimal Flow Dynamics】

While most shakers are polished horizontally, Birdy polishes its interiors vertically, in the direction of liquid motion. This improves flow velocity and energy transfer during shaking, producing cocktails with enhanced balance and harmony.

【Micron-Level Finish for Fine Foam】

Each shaker undergoes a 10-step hand polishing process to reach a precision finish at the 0.1-micron level. The delicately retained texture generates micro-bubbles that create a creamy mouthfeel and a lasting foam, from first sip to last.

 **About the Marks on the Bottom Surface**
Products in the Charcoal Edition undergo an electrolytic treatment during manufacturing, creating a thick oxide layer that gives them their signature deep black finish. As part of this process, several electrical contact points must be applied, which may result in small dot-like or scratch-like marks on the bottom surface. These marks are a natural outcome of production and do not affect the quality or performance of the product.

Before You Buy – Stainless Steel Products

All items are brand new. Because these stainless steel products are handcrafted and undergo quality inspection, some pieces may show very, very minor, natural surface marks—this is normal for handmade items and does not affect their quality or functionality. Please note that returns cannot be accepted for these natural variations.

Compared to Boston shakers, these barely noticeable marks are more likely to appear on cobbler shakers(because there are more stainless steel contact surfaces), while the entire BIRDY product line has an even lower chance of showing such imperfections.
