Before You Buy – Stainless Steel Products

All items are brand new. Because these stainless steel products are handcrafted and undergo quality inspection, some pieces may show very, very minor, natural surface marks—this is normal for handmade items and does not affect their quality or functionality. Please note that returns cannot be accepted for these natural variations.

Compared to Boston shakers, these barely noticeable marks are more likely to appear on cobbler shakers(because there are more stainless steel contact surfaces), while the entire BIRDY product line has an even lower chance of showing such imperfections.

Customs Duty For US Recipients

From Aug 29, 2025, all packages shipped to the US — including those valued under $800 — will no longer be duty-free.

The United States currently imposes a 52% import duty plus additional processing fees on stainless steel tableware made in Japan.

Please note that your order total does not include these import taxes.

After you submit your order and payment, we will calculate the applicable duties and send you a separate payment link for the tax amount.

Once the tax payment is completed, we will proceed with shipping your order.

Recent shipments have often been assessed at around 40% by U.S. Customs. If the final duties are lower than the prepaid amount, any difference (after applicable fees) will be refunded after clearance.
